  • 94% of deaths are due to sickness and 6% of deaths are due to accidental causes
  • There is a 32% probability for men and 37% prbability for women, of becoming disabled for 6 months or more before age 65
  • Males have a 2 in 5 chance and females a 1 in 4 chance of suffering a trauma between the age of 30 and 65
  • 60% of cancer sufferers will survive at least 5 years after diagnosis
